Australian Sand Sculpting Championships
February 14th to March 2nd 2014
Surfers Paradise
Surfers Paradise (3)
Sand sculpture is the art of creating incredible sculptures using only sand and water. The key to sand sculpting is finding the right sand- the finer the sand and more angular the grains are the best. Especially for the 10 professional sand sculptures who will be turning 180 tonnes of sand into awe-inspiring sculptures on The Foreshore at Surfers Paradise. The theme for 2014 is myth, legends and fairy tales. Look out for the main attraction- the mass collaboration. You’ll be amazed by what these sculptors can achieve.
A la Carte in the Park
